Türkan Işık

Born 1954 in Aydın/Bozdoğan.
She went to school in İzmir, and finished her education at İzmir Girls High School.
In 1977 she graduated at Ege University Faculty of Agriculture, in Crop Production and Breeding,
In 1978 she started to work for the ministry of Agriculture.
After serving in various provinces she worked in the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture in Muğla and here, in 2002, she retired from her position as a director.

She is married and a mother of two boys.
After her retirement she started as a hobby to attend courses in decorative painting, jewellery design and patchwork. She is currently working to improve her abilities in the Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Cultural Centre in Muğla, where she is attending painting courses offered by the art
teacher Vahdet Kadıoğlu.

M. Ziya Özalp

Born in 1952 in Datça, Mugla.
He did his primary, secondary and high school education in Muğla.
He then studied mathematics in Bursa.
In 1973 he began to work as a teacher until 2002, when he retired.

He started to paint during his attendance in courses given by Vahdet Kadıoğlu in Muğla.

He is married and has two children.
